MEET THE BEAT NUTFIELD AND SADDLE MARKING FELBRIDGE

PCSO Georgia Ruthnum will be at Nutfield Rail Station between 11am and 12pm on Friday October 16th and she will discuss any local policing concerns you may have in your area. Do come along to meet her.

On Saturday October 17th between 2pm and 4pm PCSO Claire Owen will be at Felbridge Showground, Copthorne Road, Felbridge RH19 2NU between 2pm and 4pm.

As well as being available to discuss any local policing issues you may have in your area members of the equestrian community will have an opportunity to have their riding saddles security marked at no cost.

A circular logo is pressed into the owner’s leatherwork together with a unique serial number. Details of the owner and saddle are recorded on a database so that Police Officers/Police Staff will be able to make an immediate check on any saddle to confirm that it has not been stolen.

A registration document is issued to the owner describing the saddle and showing the owner’s details. If the saddle is sold the details of the new owner can be updated on the database.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SYNTHETIC SADDLES ARE UNABLE TO BE MARKED
